Andrew Bird
Rescue Rooms, Nottingham, 5th February 2004
I complimented him on his whistling skills (he's a darn good whistler let it be known) and then asked for a story. Not that I can read half of it though.

I *think* the Andrew Bird one says:

"Over the ramaprts
through the folds
(something) the sound
beheld the hand
why colney
the hand of colney"

but I've also been suggested:
"Over the ramparts
through the folds
you (something) the stand
it held the hand (something)
the hand of (something)"

...not that either one makes particular sense.

Thanks so much for these! They're awesome!

OK, after consulting with my fiance', we got it:

"Over the ramparts
through the folds
under the strand
beheld the hand
of glory
the hand of glory -A. Bird"

He says: "don't thank me, third graders handwriting!" :D
